Gabriele Ricci will teach at the new Master Course in Motion Design at NID, Perugia – ITALY
In 2019, I had the opportunity to teach a course about Visual Effects and Compositing with After Effects at *Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti, thanks to my colleague Claudio Bellizzi at EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani.
Today—with four years of teaching experience, I am excited to participate in a new fantastic project.
I remember feeling both excited and scared at the prospect of explaining my process to others. However, after many rehearsals and some public speaking courses, I was ready to take on the challenge.
With Claudio Cipelletti, my supervisor, I set aside my fears and started explaining what I had planned, driven by my passion for my job.
The experience was unique! Watching students learn and start to composite their first shots, track elements, and key them into a scene was truly rewarding.
Students are an immense source of inspiration; for me, they are like gasoline poured onto the fire! 🔥🔥🔥
A fundamental goal of mine was to infuse the course with over a decade of experience in the motion design industry and to be the mentor I didn’t have when I started my career.
Fast forward to today—with four years of teaching experience, I am excited to participate in a new fantastic project.
I’m thrilled to announce my role as a teacher at the Master in Motion Design at NID – Nuovo Istituto Design, Perugia. I am delighted to be part of this project with some of the most talented designers and studios in the Italian industry!
