3D Animation and Visual Effects in the Automotive Sector

In 2020, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the agency Hibo and Mikael Masoero on an exciting project that combined the powerful realms of automotive, animation, and visual effects for Pagani Automobili.

The video showcased Pagani L.E.O., a revolutionary platform for remote vehicle control and diagnostics, a prominent innovation in the automotive field.

My role was to direct and create a 40-second clip filled with dynamic animations and visual effects.

The most crucial part of this clip was the magical transition from the “heart of the car” to the digital world of data. To make this moment extraordinary, I created a unique core in After Effects, skillfully combining different layers of particle elements made with Trapcode Particular.

Subsequently, I brought to life a breathtaking section entirely crafted in motion design. This part of the video offers an extraordinary animated journey through the data, culminating at Pagani’s headquarters in Modena, Italy’s heart.

Thanks to the valuable collaboration of the talented colleague Federico Donati, who handled the particle simulations coming from the car, we created a project that captured the attention and enthusiasm of all who saw it. Working with Hibo and Mikael Masoero was a unique and stimulating experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to such an innovative initiative in the world of automotive and animations.
